Please complete the application form to request a laptop.
Laptop Loan Information
After you have submitted the form, you will be notified by the library via e-mail about your eligibility and the status of your laptop request. The e-mail will contain instructions on when and where you will pick up the equipment.
Please Note: Students may ONLY borrow a laptop on or after the start date of their classes. If you are enrolled but your classes haven’t started, you must wait until the start date to request a laptop.*

Laptop Loan Eligibility Criteria
- Students must be enrolled in the current semester at Los Angeles Harbor College.
Important Information
- Students will be communicated with via the email listed on the form. Please check your email regularly.
- If eligible, students will be expected to electronically agree to the Laptop Rental Agreement in order to receive a laptop.
The main terms of the agreement are listed below:
- Student accepts full responsibility for the equipment and accessories they are borrowing.
- Student will reimburse the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) for the cost of repairing or replacing this equipment, and/or accessories if they are damaged, lost, stolen, or not returned while checked out in student’s name.
- Student will pay all overdue fines if they fail to return this equipment by the date communicated by the library. Student also understands that all charges for violations of these policies will result in outstanding fees, which will prevent student from registering for classes and/or graduating until they are paid in full.
- Laptops will not be accepted if the asset tag is removed.
- Student understands that their abuse of the equipment loan privileges may also result in disciplinary action and the inability to borrow equipment in the future and that failure to return the equipment within the allotted time will be considered theft of LACCD property.
